You can cheat your way to victory with this good/bad method

This doesn’t sound as bad as it reads, it’s just a clever productivity method I promise.

Essentially you are pairing something good with something bad to fast track your way to victory.

Example please? Well sure.

Think about doing a butt load of dishes that are stacked besides your sink.

Now think about doing those dishes while listening to your favourite new album.

Immediately it becomes so much more enjoyable to do.

It sounds like a simple thing but I can guarantee you that majority of the time we all just want to get that crappy task done so we dive into it quickly without thinking about how we can make it better for us.

I was doing the above example the other day, plowing through dishes with some music up loud and while my wife didn’t approve of the songs, I literally had a pep in my step cleaning dishes.

That’s why it feels like cheating. How did I suddenly become happy while doing the dishes?

Reward yourself for doing something you don’t want to do.

Make it appealing.

You are basically living out that cartoon scene of a person running on a treadmill with a donut dangling in front of them.
